Message from the President
I am often asked, gWhy is your head office located in Takamatsu?h To explain this I must go back to the very first time I met my wife, Nahid, at an international Baha'i Conference in Hawaii. I quickly learned that Nahid loved Japan and that she had left Iran at the young age of 18 to attend college in Japan. She had studied Japanese history and culture at Tezukayama University in Nara, and was working as an interpreter when we met. Because of her strong desire to live in Japan, when we married I decided to move to Japan as well. My wifefs guarantor at the time was the late Taiichiro Yoshida, retired mayor of Yamato Koriyama City in Nara prefecture, who introduced me to Yonezawa-sensei, a Shorinji Kempo master who lived in Takamatsu. Through these connections, I ended up in Takamatsu. Once there, the late Nobuo Waki, who was then the mayor of Takamatsu, became my visa guarantor. After I had gotten to know Yonezawa sensei, he told me gTo live in Japan, you must understand the heart of the Japanese people.h He then suggested that I learn some Shorinji Kempo to do this. I promptly entered a dojo in the area, and after practicing for 5000 hours, I obtained my black belt and in 1990 I became the champion of Kagawa prefecture. I have been blessed with a son and a daughter, and am deeply thankful for these and many other blessings that have come to me because of the kindness and generosity of all the people that have befriended me since I came here. In the years since I founded Persian Palace Ltd. we have had the opportunity to be involved in several volunteer organizations, such as the Red Cross Volunteer Promotion Committee and the NHK International Assistance Group. Through these groups we have been able to help the victims of natural disasters. I am also a member of the Kobe Chamber of Commerce. ,

Kindest Regards,
